What Do Your Spots Mean?

Hey Guys,

No matter who you are or how well you look after your skin you are guaranteed to get spots at some point. Some worse than others but that's life, right?

Spots can pop up at the most unexpected time and more than likely they will appear when you really don't need to see them.

I'm no expert in skin but I am going to go through why spots show up in certain places.

Spots on the chin:

This is a place where most people tend to get a lot. This has nothing to do with diet or stress or anything like that. These spots are simply hormonal. As they are hormonal they affect girls more than guys especially once a month. Due to them being hormonal there isn't really a way of getting rid of them. They usually just disappear by themselves.

Spots on the cheek:

Cheeks can be a difficult one to say because there is so many different reasons why spots occur here. From research it has shown that if spots appear near the top of your cheeks it's to do with lungs. This mostly affects smokers and such. Another reason is to so with diet such as meats and sugars so the best way to see is by changing some of the things you are eating.

Spots on the forehead:

Usually when people think of spots on their forehead they blame their hair due to fringes and the likes. This is one of the main reason due to grease from the hair and the products being used and sweat build up during the day. Another reason is reason can be to do with the diet. If you feel there is some sort of food that could be causing the break-out, so switch around some foods and it may clear it up in no time.

Spots on the nose:

Spots on the nose or even just a redness around the nose is usually caused by the heart. If you suffer regularly from spots or either redness it's probably best to consult a doctor just to make sure your blood pressure is ok. Also it could be diet so make sure you are eating foods that are good for you and getting enough vitamins.

When I did my makeup course one of the first things we were told about the skin is how important it is to take care of it. Spots are things that can pop up at any random time, but with a healthy diet and a good skin care routine it can be much easier to control them.

As I said I am no expert in skin or anything but these are some of the things I have learned and researched.
