Barry M Blueberry Ice Cream Review

Hey guys,
A few weeks ago I purchased Barry M's blueberry Ice cream nail varnish and I'm not going to beat around the bush.. I am in love!

This colour is something that reminds me so much of summer that when I saw it, I just had to buy it! It stays on really well and lasted a whole week before it chipped on me. (I applied Barry M top coat above it.)  The colour is bright and unlike other colours only needed to be applied once. What made this even better was that Barry M have 3 for 2 in superdrug and are also very cheap selling at around €3 a bottle. The only thing that would make this better is if it actually smelt like blueberry icecream but hey, we can't have everything right?

Lately I have become very obsessed with nail varnish and can definitely see myself going back for more of this brand.

23. I've seen every FRIENDS episode 38738792 times. (who hasn't?)

At the minute, unfortunetly, I am broke and won't be buying anything for awhile. *wipes away tears* Here are some outfits I put together in hopes that closer to summer I will be able to afford them.

Positive Post #1

Ok so I thought I'd do something a little different today and write a little positive/motivational post because well, it doesn't cost anything to put a smile on your/someone elses face.

I think everyone can admit they have had one of those days where they just want to hide under their bed covers and never come out. I myself have had those days but I always try to pick myself up and make the most of it.

Everyday holds something great, you just have to open your eyes and think of all the positives. A lot of the time people just focus on the bad things when there is a much bigger picture to what is going on.

I'm obviously no expert but I just feel that if you think positive good things will happen and this is why I always try my best to see things in a new light no matter how bad they seem.

So if you take anything from this insanely cheesy/cringy post it's to just smile. Things may be bad but there is a light at the end of the tunnel.

Top 5 favourite products

We all have our favourite beauty products so I thought I'd give you a run down on mine :

1. Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Milk: I, myself hate moisturisers that make me feel sticky and feel like they haven't dried. If you also hate that about moisturisers that feel like that this is the one for you. Along with  leaving your body smooth and fresh it smells amazing and that makes this product 100% more appealing. Soap & Glory have never let me down and this product keeps them high in my books.

2. Tangle Teezers: Now these brushes are a big hype at the moment and can see why! I don't tend to brush my hair everyday as it goes frizzy and brushes away my curls, and because of this my hair 10 times knottier. With this brush it's much easier to handle the knots as it gently glides through them instead of pulling at them like normal brushes. I honestly think I would be lost without it! It makes brushing my hair hair less of a task.

3. Nivea Daily Essentials Light Moisturising Day Cream: My skin had been looking down in the dumps for awhile and I needed something cheap and cheerful to pick it back up. I found this and feel like I've found a new best friend. I pop it on every morning before my make-up and it's so refreshing. This cream is light on the skin and doesn't smell to strong. My skin now looks happier and feels so much smoother. If anyone is on a budget this is something I highly recommend.

4. Soap & Glory Thick and Fast Mascara: As I said before Soap and Glory have never let me down and the same goes for this mascara. Eyelashes are never left clumpy and the eye is suddenly brighter. They look thicker and have plenty of volume. If you haven't tried this yet it's a must.

5. Rimmel Wake Me Up Foundation: I have never loved a foundation as much as I love this! This is definitely one of those 'does exactly what it says on the tin' (well bottle) products. Whenever my skin looks tired and restless I slap some of this foundation on and I suddenly look much more awake and refreshed. I also feel I can never find a foundation that suits my skin colour as I am so pale but the 'ivory' shade of this rimmel product works wonders.

Maybelline 'Falsies' Mascara

So I have recently been looking for some new products to use and last week I got my hands on Maybelline 'Falsies' mascara. I have read some good things about this and since it was on sale I just couldn't resist buying it.

To be honest I, myself wouldn't have the shortest of lashes, but I always feel I need to add a bit of colour to them. (if that even makes sense!)

This mascara is perfect to make your eyelashes stand out from your face and brightens up your eyes. It has a spoon-shaped brush which makes it easier for your eyelashes to curve and doesn't leave them clumpy! I have only used it for a week  but it is slowly becoming my new all time favourite.

If anyone is looking for a new go to mascara this is one I would most certainly recommend.

Hair Scare

So I've been getting rid of colour in my hair for about a year now and after letting my natural hair colour shine through for quiet some time, with a touch of ombré, I thought it was time to do something different.

I had no clue what I wanted to do with it until I watched the movie 'Lol' featuring Miley Cyrus. After that movie a trip to the hairdressers was in order.

Spending two hours in a chair is not so fun but seeing the results is a different story. I'm glad I gave this hair colour a go and am now super happy with the result.

Summer Colour

There still may be that cold breeze in the air but slowly and surely summer is on it's way. Summer is my favourite time as I despise being cold and there is nothing better than stepping outside your front door and having the sun beating down on you. (Even if this is a rare occasion in Ireland.) I have been keeping an eye out for what colours I feel will be a big hit this summer and from what I can gather Yellow/lime seems to be in a lot of places! I have never been a big fan of this colour, but, there is something about it this summer that has caught my eye and hopefully will stick around.

Here are some items I feel justify this colour:
